Ruth Borg is a performing artist and theatre maker born in Malta and based in Amsterdam, working across theatre, performance and film. ​

Her work seeks to uncover and awaken our capacity for love and liberation that may lay dormant beneath the versions of ourselves that are trapped in habit. She currently creates work for adults, though her heart still beats loudly for children’s theatre.

Soon she will soon record her first album for her first music project ILSNA a long-awaited step that has filled her heart with new excitement. When invited, she leads workshops.

 

For the past year she has also been part of the team of Slow Sex, a movement and a practice around the art of relating.

 

Ruth graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Theatre Studies from the University of Malta and more recently earned a B.A. in Mime in  Amsterdam. She has performed locally and across Europe with a variety of collectives, companies, and in her own original work.
